Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Port Moody

This was my first time at The Lunch Lady. We made a reservation just over 2 weeks in advance and the only option on a Sunday evening was outdoor patio (so make sure to reserve well in advance for weekends!). The outdoor patio, they mention, is heated, and it truly was warm, covered and comfortable. We had the beef carpaccio which was good, garlic noodles, and this I would recommend, but my favorite dish was the steak luc lac (done medium rare with this burnt scallion butter that was divine). My friend had the beef noodle soup, and although the broth was great and the soup was a sizeable portion, you can get something similar in other Vietnamese restaurants. Finally, their customer service is fantastic. All in all, with the service, food and price, I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Really nice place. Great food and lovely staff. We were early for our reservation but were seated right away. Was quite noisy as there was a large party on site and the place is small. However we expected that there would be holiday revellers give it was so close to the 25th! Would recommend for sure

Dinner was perfect. Food and wine were delicious as usual. Chicken, brisket and ribs - so good. Stand out for the night was the exceptional service. We can’t think of a better experience. 21 years living in Vancouver and this was hands down the best dining experience. Thanks to the whole team - with special thanks to our server for making my birthday the best night out.
