Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Hugo

We popped in for a quick midweek meal and were seated in the side room of the To La Bay Hazelwood for the first time. Perfect! Casual, the bowl game was in the TV next to us, our server Tommy was great, and our two post-holiday salads were delicious! What more could you ask for! We’ll be back!

We sat in a cozy area to the left of the entrance, near the coffee bar. We have always on the past been deated in the larger dining area. We really enjoyed our “new” location! It felt warm and cozy, and appreciated the attentiveness of the wait staff.

Food is always consistent. The booth though was very tight for 6 people. Table was overwhelmed with plates, glasses, coffee cups. The table we had really would have been better for 4. Need round tables for 6. That is my ONLY complaint. Wasn’t happy when hostess sat us there, even with reservations we had made. Thank you

Didn't realize that this is the hotel bar. However, after finding some easy on-street parking, our group welcomed a quiet place to gather and share some interesting non-overpriced food and non-stingy drinks before seeing a show at the Ordway. Service was perfect.

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.
