- EERICGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoOur wait staff seemed in love with what they do, had an infectious brightness. Excellent food and drink recommendations. The ambience in the place is what I'd call very cozy. It's not that big, but bustling everywhere. Still, it's a vibe. Off in the background the bartenders are singing whatever 2000s pop song they're blasting at the moment. It's great carefree energy if you're up for it. Food was delicious and came out in perfect timing. Drink menu was extensive and not at all familiar for I think most Americans -- which I love! Give me something refreshingly different! They even gave us free shots with our check and kindly hoped we enjoyed ourselves and that they'd love to see us again. Restaurants like this deserve your business. When there's care and intent in every aspect of what they do, it's hard to not enjoy yourself. Will most certainly be back!More infoMahaniyomPrice: Expensive• Thai• Brookline•4.7

- KKarenvipGreater Boston •32 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 5, 2024This was our third time at The Bluebird Bar, our first for a special occasion, a birthday. We ordered mussels as an appetizer, which were absolutely delicious and plentiful. The main course of salmon, which my husband asked to have cooked through was good, but kind of bland. My steak tips were good and came with fries that were exceptional! The curious part came towards the end of our time there. We were well-fed, but might have ordered a dessert, since this was a birthday celebration. The bill came and no dessert menu was offered, nor was any little gesture made in honor of the birthday. The person seating us did give happy birthday wishes verbally, but that was it. Most times we and friends have eaten out to celebrate a birthday, some gesture has been made at other restaurants. We enjoy The Bluebird Bar and will return, but my advice to the restaurant is to pay some kind of tangible attention to someone celebrating a birthday with you.More infoThe Bluebird BarPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• West Newton•4.5
- TTobyGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined on Aug 31, 2024This was my second visit to City Streets and we plan on returning with friends. The food was excellent. We shared arancini, then I enjoyed the chicken piccata, while my husband had fish and chips. My daughter enjoyed the shrimp tempura bowl. The restaurant staff is friendly, helpful and very capable. Since there are lots of hard surfaces, the room gets a bit noisy but not as much as other places we have visited. All in all, we are delighted to have discovered City Streets and plan to return many times. We recommend it highlyMore infoCity Streets RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Waltham•4.7
