Best Chinese Restaurants in Hoffman Estates

Perfect way to spend my Birthday. We started with the Chicken and Peanut Egg Rolls, followed by Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice and ended with the White Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake, yummy! Food was great! I’m sure service is better when it isn’t a busy holiday weekend. Everyone was very polite, they were just slammed. It is a busy family atmosphere - lots of big groups, and it is a small dining room with tables pretty close together.

THEY CONTINUE TO MAKE SHRIMP WITH LOBSTER SAUCE FOR ME, EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN TAKEN OFF THE MENU. PLEASE PUT IT BACK ON. MY SERVER , BAILEY, SAID IT'S REQUESTED OFTEN. BAILEY SUPPLIED ME WITH REFILLS ON MY DRINK WITHOUT ME HAVING TO ASK. THAT IS MY DEFINITION OF GREAT SERVICE.

We had Christmas lunch here, so it was pretty quiet and the staff weren’t so busy. With that in mind, service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The food was excellent: pot stickers for starters, then mutton stir fry, beef fried rice and Singapore noodles. Mutton is unusual in Chicagoland but it was surprisingly good. PL8 is now in our top 2 Chinese restaurants in the NW burns.

Food was great, came out fast and hot, quicker than expected. Portions big. Service was excellent. Made it a great experience.
