Best Canadian Restaurants in Ayr

We had lunch, my friend had the chicken bowl, and I had the grilled chicken chibata with fries. Everything, including the fries was top notch!! We both thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon. There was a VERY loud table beside us, but other than that, would highly recommend the Friendly Society. The service was also very friendly! We will be back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at the Mill. The historic buildings, both inside and out, are gorgeous. And the food! It was a pleasure to have an expansive buffet offered. Everything was presented in a charming yet elegant way. The seafood (freshly shucked oysters, large shrimp, smoked salmon, mussels, crab legs), and plenty of it, was a highlight for us. But the carvery station with baked ham and roast beef and roast pork with old-fashioned crackling was equally yummy! The service and attention to detail really shine. And a big part of that was due to our server, Candace. She was simply wonderful. Thank you all. Our 50th wedding anniversary tour continues, but this was a highlight.

Food choices were great, nice variety to meet everyone’s prefs. Taste was amazing. Service was attentive and tuned in nicely for the birthday vibe. Beer was quite good too! Will definitely be back. You gotta try the halloumi fries :)

Everyone had such a great time here celebrating my bf’s birthday! Emily was so amazing, one of our favourite servers we have ever had! A great spot for those who love to watch sports and eat good food while doing so. The drinks were spectacular, especially the “Ninja Turtle”! We would all come again, and have already told our friends about this place!

This is my second visit and so far I can say enough about the delicious food and choices. My server, Emily, who served me on both occasions, was sweet, attentive and very professional. She also remembered us, which made the visit even more special. We plan on becoming regulars here....and will definitely also ask for Emily's section. To top it off the music was great.
