From the moment we entered the building we were made to feel very special. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed every bit of the evening. I would highly recommend The Poet to anyone wanting to experience top quality restaurant food and wine.More infoThe Poet at MatfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Tunbridge Wells•4.8
- AAnneLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHaving travelled to London in the past and enjoyed afternoon teas in various locations, we were very pleased that the newly opened Canterbury Ivy were offering Afternoon Tea. We cannot speak too highly of our whole experience. The three tiered selection, together with side plate of warm scones, all looked and tasted delicious - the savoury and sweet items, each with its own lovely flavours. The service was excellent - efficient, friendly and helpful, all of which created a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returningMore infoThe Ivy, CanterburyPrice: Moderate• British• Canterbury•4.4
- AAmandaGloucestershire/Wiltshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 2, 2025The choice on the menu was very good, lots of interesting dishes to try.Tandoori brochette was delicious. Portion size was generous. Perhaps a little expensive but for a special occasion definitely worth it.Stunning view of the castle.Staff were attentive and friendly. I would of liked the background music slightly louder,it felt very quiet when other guests were not talking.Overall it was a wonderful experience. Also enjoyed a breakfast the following morning.Highly recommend. Amazing choice of menu. Exceptional full English buffet.More infoCastle View RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Maidstone•4.3
