The service was absolutely outstanding and we were served all night by happy, enthusiastic people. And the food? Fantastic, great authentic Japanese flavours and the huge selection of interesting Japanese sake's, wines and of course their own beer, made for a fun night of conversation and people trying each other's drinks! From then on we were very well looked after the bar staff , Lauren and a young Spanish lady whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. However, the tables were sticky with what appeared to be residue from drink coasters which was off-putting. I'm unsure if it was the weather but the place was very quiet. Generally I don't mind a quitter venue but this was bordering on dead which killed the vibe a little bit. I don't know why because it's a pretty decent place.
