Best Breakfast Restaurants in Mira Mesa

Food and service was great! We had a late afternoon reservation and it was still pretty crowded. I would definitely go back

First time to Rustic Root and it won’t be the last! We were seated promptly (and slightly earlier than our reservation!) and immediately greeted by Jared - who was attentive, friendly and offered great recommendations. We had the mimosa tray, which was served with 3 juices: orange, cranberry and pineapple as well as 3 juice concentrates: mango, raspberry and blackberry. Also, mimosa tray came with a couple berries selection to add: raspberries, blueberries and blackberries, all to be served in coup glasses! Delivery and presentation exceeded any mimosa experience at other restaurant! I ordered the pork belly fried rice which was incredibly savory! Coffee was standard, lavender latte was served in a very vintage sheik glass. The food seemed to take a while to be served, but worth the wait! Overall, great experience from the host check in, to the service and food! Highly recommend reservations on a weekend, the restaurant was always busy! Parking can be limited on the street, but there is free underground parking for the restaurants and retail (until it fills up!)

We came for brunch and the food was wonderful. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful gem in La Mesa. Several other options, but this is the place to be. Latin-fusion flavors and great atmosphere. We had the empanadas, jalapeno corn lasagna, and sweet potato bowl. A lot of great vegetarian and vegan options, didn't miss the meat (much). Could be great for a large gathering as well.

great food and service. everything was perfect. sat outside. the weather was great. they had heaters out there.
