Best Breakfast Restaurants in Manayunk

Every single course was unique and delicious! Recommendation by our server ,Sean, on how to order was spot on. He also suggested the winter Negroni drink and it was fantastic! We started with the salted beets and the hiromasa crudo both were fresh and light. We had the skate cheeks, the texture of the fish was flaky and had a bit of crunch on top. The ricotta dumplings had my mouth watering from the smell as I broke open the first dumpling. It had the perfect amount of heat and a slight smokiness that was so freaking good you want to lick the bowl. Hubby ordered the veal osso buco and raved about it. I had the orata and it was flaky and delicious. Most places that excel at the main food are not so terrific with desserts but at Bastia both the panna cota and the basque cheesecake had unique flavors that were a perfect ending. Service was incredible and allowed us to have conversation but never missed a beat on clearing and presenting the next course. We’ve been to a lot of really good restaurants but Bastia is top 3 of them all. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in Philadelphia and we will choose to return to Bastia.

We shared the avocado toast, the brown rice salad - both excellent and one of us had the manhattan clam chowder. The last was good but lukewarm to the table - detracted from its taste on a cold day.

Again, on December 25th, I went to SkyHigh for the second time, and this time, I invited my parents since they had never been to a restaurant above all in the heights and in the skies like SkyHigh. It was a very calm, relaxed atmosphere, with excellent service and very professional, as always! My parents and I were delighted and happy. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. I will definitely go back again.

We went to Squarer 1682 for Christmas dinner. On this day, restaurants in hotels are the major choices. Square 1682 did well with the opportunity. The food was good - Red Snapper and Prime rib. I went in for brunch and it was amazing. I had the chicken and waffles and the mimosa flight which were amazing. The staff were so nice and attentive. I can’t wait to come back for brunch and sporting events . They have so many TVs which is perfect for watching anything you want !
