- JJanetPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe warm beet salad was worth the trip. I truly wish that the chefs would use just a pinch or two of salt in the pasta water or the sauce so that the delicate flavors would be enhanced. There’s a very one-note, flour forward flavor in my opinion. I can always ask for salt at the table — have and will continue to do so if necessary.More infoUrban DecanterPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Forest Grove•5
- CChristinePortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI am obsessed with the food here! I have to say the Brûléed Squash and Burrata was soooo tasty!! The crispy chicken confit’ also was amazing, it was so tender. It just fell right off the bone. The skin was perfectly crisp. We were celebrating our 13th anniversary and they brought us a couple of complementary glasses of bubbly with some Italian wedding cookies. Grazie Mille!! Will definitely be backMore infoDolly OlivePrice: Expensive• Italian• Northwest Portland•4.8

- KKathyVIPHawaii •47 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 11, 2025This is a teeny tiny restaurant (9 tables, 20 diners) that is wedged into a semi industrial district next to a tattoo parlor. Incredible how the chef can create so many masterpieces in a kitchen the size of a broom closet. John is the owner, and he seems to function as a one man Maistre d", server, busboy, sommelier, and probably janitor after the restaurant closes. Another amazing sleight of hand(s). There is a (very pricey) tasting menu available for $152 (before wine), that appears to have about 12 courses. The regular menu changes frequently. Basically, follow John's suggestions for everything. It's all fabulous. Downsides are that the tables are only inches apart, so don't come here for quiet, private conversations. Parking is a bit of a pain, but not a real obstacle to a great destination meal. Vive la France!!More infoC'est Si Bon! Bistro+VinsPrice: Expensive• French• Northeast Portland•4.7
- PPatriciaVIPPortland / Oregon •12 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 8, 2025Had to wait a bit to be served but the food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was a little noisy due to a table of fairly loud women, but all in all, a delightful experience.More infoDundee BistroPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Dundee•4.6
