- MmicaelagLondon •12 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had set menu, ordered our starter and main then told if we wanted a dessert to order now as well as very busy and could take 10/15 mins to arrive. After having our main course cleared we had a 20 min wait for dessert and that was with asking twice and the restaurant being half empty by then. Was this just a way of making us pay for 3 courses?More infoCôte Brasserie - KensingtonPrice: Moderate• French• Kensington•4.4

- PParVIPLondon •31 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 29, 2024We had some issues with several of the dishes. In particular it seemed the kitchen, on this occasion, struggled to deliver fish dishes that were not far too overcooked - not great when you're asking for things to be rare or medium. And even if you're not asked (as was the case with one of these dishes) they should not be prepared like that. First time here and whilst not a great fan of the low tables and chairs we had an enjoyable time. Until... ca 2.45pm when all of the restaurant, literally every table, became an afternoon tea party. That drastically changes the end of a lunch experience and not for the better. We decided against having a pudding and more wine and fled the scene. Shame. Standout service delivered by Valentina.More infoJean-George’s at The ConnaughtPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Mayfair•4.9
