+ve Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Delicious food , especially the Pork belly dish Staff very aware of allergies for two of the guests- one was a Coeliac and one had a peanut allergy. -ve Tables were a bit too close to each other which made it very difficult for us to get around the table to get seated.

I really love it at St Katherine’s Dock and although there is a constant turnover of staff generally the service and food are good. We went for our Festive Christmas meal to start off advent and…. upon arrival manager was lovely welcoming, polite, when seated the waitress came, additional menus, glasses, cutlery were not removed and table wobbled. We ordered the festive menu each and a bottle of bubbly. Manager was wonderful came over saw our table wobbled and sort it! Waitress just appeared to not be trained in etiquette or customer service. Managed to drip bits of two courses on the table, menus and one of us when clearing. We never had our water or champagne topped up when glasses were empty, we did our own and at the end I think the bar manager noticed and kindly came and topped us up. Dessert then only one appeared and was popped in between us…. no awareness that hmm perhaps there should be two, our champagne glasses and water glasses were empty, we saw the manager and he promptly removed it and sorted it, bar manager topped us up and they kindly brought us a complimentary champagne which was much appreciated so we happily paid the service charge! Overall nice but if we had a polite and trained waitress would have been wonderful! Wish they had a couple of crackers too when ordering off the festive menu just for a little something special on the table but appreciate it’s a nice to have!

Excellent service . We both had the butternut squash tart which came with a side salad (which we didn’t recall seeing mentioned on the menu and was a nice addition) - the tart was delicious and we can highly recommend it.

I am in two minds. To keep this neighbourhood gem as a cherished secret so we can get a table or to trumpet it and be disappointed because it is fully booked. The location and dining spaces are beautiful, the menu is kept abbreviated so you know the ingredients used will be fresh and the service by Miro (last night) and Sue (from previous dining experiences) is delightful. The bread and butter, the wagyu burger with truffle chips, fine green beans, the moules… all made delicious, fresh. Merci
