Best Australian Restaurants in Table Top

This is our second visit and Ava does not disappoint. A tribute to the local area of their food and wine offerings. Not an overwhelming menu, just right so you have choices, yet each selection was a winner. Started with a delicious warm sourdough focaccia that shows you the journey you will go on. The service is excellent, they know the menu, the wine list and happy to provide suggestions. If in Milawa a must visit.

The River Deck Cafe is our regular stop when we drive between Melbourne and Canberra or Melbourne and Sydney. The location is amazing, set in the park overlooking the Murray River, so we can stretch our legs and the dog can run around. The food standard here is very high, much higher than one would expect in a small regional location. They take great pride in using fresh local ingredients and the supplies are proudly listed in the menu. Very happy to continue to have this as our regular stop and I always recommend it to fellow foodies.

Spoiled myself with an early Xmas gift of the slow lunch. Was beautiful and not too heavy for the amount of dishes you have. Thanks for the friendly service.

Menu, location and service were all fantastic. We had a party of 8 for a pre Christmas celebration. The staff went out of their way to add some simple Christmas decorations to the table. It meant so much. Our waitperson was very friendly and nice. Nothing was too hard for him. Fantastic menu that catered well for all of us dining. Well done everyone.
