I went in with high expectations, and somehow, they still managed to blow me away. Let’s start with the absolute star of the night: the duck. I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working in that kitchen, but this was next-level. Crispy, flavorful, and so good that it made us all go quiet for a minute—which, if you know our group, is saying something. Worth every penny. Now, let’s talk wine. The sommelier, Justin, is a wizard. He paired our wines so perfectly with each dish that we started trusting him with life decisions. Service? Impeccable. Our waiter was incredibly accommodating, especially with the gluten-free folks in our group. No eye rolls, no hesitation—just great recommendations and careful attention to detail. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. Overall, Choy is a must-visit. The food is spectacular, the service is top-notch, and if you leave without trying the duck, you’ve made a terrible mistake. I’ll absolutely be back!!More infoChoyPrice: Expensive• Chinese• The Gulch & North Gulch•4.8

They have a great staff, our server Karim was nothing short of excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout the night. I will gladly return, and highly recommend Sunda to anybody and everybody!More infoSunda New Asian – NashvillePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Asian• The Gulch & North Gulch•4.7

The restaurant and adjacent bar have been our go-to places for dinner before shows at the nearby TPAC or for after-performance drinks. We even meet our advisor quarterly in the bar or restaurant. He flies in and never fails to comment on the relaxing atmosphere after rushing through BNA. Our latest drinks and dinner at Drusie and Darr was the beginning of a sort of mini adult getaway. We checked into the hotel, headed down and spent enjoyable time in the restaurant, before heading over to TPAC. As to our dinner, my wife had the blackened sea bass and I, the warm shrimp salad. We shared the roasted cauliflower. My only complaint (minor) is that the salad seemed underdressed. The delicious buttery, citrussy dressing was simply drizzled over each of the shrimp; leaving the lettuce mix somewhat naked. Granted, I'm a dressing lover. Finally: we’ve eaten in other Jean-Georges restaurants and like most of them. One of the things we like about Drusie and Darr, however, is that one knows exactly where he or she will be seated: none of the being relegated to the “kid’s table” in adjacent spaces or at its very worst, the basement at the Pound Ridge Inn in NY.More infoDrusie & Darr at The Hermitage HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown / Sobro•4.7
- VVeronicaNashville •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWasn’t sure about a Japanese and Chinese place, but wow. We got the Sizzling Rice Seafood Soup, and it actually sizzled soooooo good. Also had the Egg Drop Flower Soup, which was warm and eggy in the best way. For mains, the Kung Pow was spicy and crunchy, and the pepper Steak was super flavorful and tender. Both were A+. Service was fast, portions were big, and everything tasted awesome. Would 100% eat here again.More infoIchigo IchiePrice: Moderate• Asian• Music Row•4.3
