Best American Restaurants in Southern Highlands

We wanted to spend our 3 year wedding anniversary (and 14th year together) here because we have been a couple times before and love the food and atmosphere. When we arrived we had a signed happy anniversary card on the table from the staff which was super thoughtful and amazing. I requested to sit in a booth near the lava wall when making the reservation because it’s just something beautiful to watch. The service was impeccable and she was attentive and extremely kind in taking care of us. I highly recommend the queen filet and Mac n cheese! I had the 12 oz wagyu but it was a tad rough but none the less was still good. We thank and appreciate everyone for making our day just that much more special.

Mark, our waiter was full of energy and enthusiasm for providing excellent service. This is our fifth time at the Bootlegger and Mark is our fifth server. All of them have been beyond excellent. The atmosphere is one of enjoyment. The food is amazing. My daughter got the ravioli with rose sause and I got the Saltimboca. It takes slightly longer to make but is so worth it. We always get the creme brulee and a tiramisu to go because they are both amazing, but we are too full to have more than one shared dessert. The Bootlegger never disappoints.

Everything we had was excellent! The prime rib was so tender and delicious. We had a baked potato, pesto mashed potatoes, carrots and creamed spinach for the sides, all were excellent. It's more affordable than a steakhouse is, the prices were great. The service was also amazing. Our food came out quickly. Love this place, we'll be back!

We had a party of 6 friends that haven’t seen each other in a long time. All of us enjoyed our dinner, especially your specialty drinks. I had a delicious Chinese chicken salad. We are watching college football games while eating. We would definitely come back again.

The food was good and service was excellent. We will definitely return.
