Coyote Cafe continues to outdo themselves. The new menu is really great and the service by Paris was top notch. We love sitting at the chef’s counter and watching the cooks work their magic. Can’t wait to go back.

From start to finish, the energetic yet reserved, attentive and direct service all made for a phenomenal fine dining experience. The unique take on Caesar salad, Prawns, Filet Mignon, Elk Tenderloin, and reduced strawberry with ladyfinger cake made for an unforgettable night. Impeccable food ambiance, service and management.

Always an excellent meal! Scallops on point; Elk great as well. (Do wish they had a fresh fish option.) Service was phenomenal. Location perfect for a meal before a Lensic performance.

Fabulous meal at Coyote Cafe. Our server, Paris, was so attentive and helpful considering we had two young children with us. This is a must stop when in Santa Fe. Made up for a less than stellar experience at Cafe Pasquals (avoid this overpriced disaster).

Coyote is BAAAACCCKK!!! For those who have felt a kind of surrealist film noire over the last 8 months with some uneven changes at our beloved Coyote Cafe, the much anticipated return of Dakota to Head Chef has elevated the quality and sophistication of not only the menu and preparation, but clearly energized the staff whose enthusiasm is palpable. A lightness of mood permeated the room, as delectable plates and drinks gleefully made their way to tables, packed full of diners that were thrilled with everything. The Pecan Coffee Rubbed Filet Mignon brought Coyote back to having the best filet in town. Perfect Plus, is a phrase that comes to mind. 🙌🏻 Already making plans to go back again this week. YAY!!

We were here for my husband's birthday on a Friday night. The first thing we noticed is that it is a very lively (noisy) environment. It is not a quiet, romantic night kind of environment. We liked our server, but the service itself lacked attentiveness. Our meals came out in about 10 minutes, before our drinks came, and it was awkward. It felt rushed. The elk tenderloin was really good, very tender. The lobster tails were good, but whatever accompanied it was not that great, leaving it a very small meal - especially at $50. Our server didn't check on us until we were almost done with our meal. We had fun, but decided we probably won't be back.

My wife took me here to celebrate my birthday. The food was phenomenal, the staff was exceptional, and the entire experience was outstanding. We will be in NM for the week and will be sure to go back!
