   Guy was excellent server. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered! will be back for special occasion, as it is a bit pricey.

   We always enjoy dinner at the Cork Tree when we are in Palm Desert. Everything was absolutely perfect; where we sat, Service, the food and wine were delicious.. Everything was excellent! We would highly recommend The Cork Tree for a lovely dinner experience!

   We were visiting for anniversary and were told this might be good. It was really good. The staff was like a restaurant staff of 40 years ago (which means even the young ones smiled and talked and were engaged and engaging). Glad we ate here and the sea bass was very flavorful and the salads were really good—- but the escargot with beef in puff pastry was out of this world- yum.

   Unfortunately it was a mediocre experience. We chose to dine at Cork Tree on a Sunday night thinking about how much we usually like to eat there. It started with a dirty booth then the bottle of white wine we ordered came warm as suppose to be chilled. We sent it back but received our appetizer before getting our new chilled wine by the glass. The salmon was mushy and the potatoes were dry. The apple pie was good but cold inside. We live in the valley all year long. There are so many restaurants we like because of the food, the service and the ambiance. Cork Tree disappointed us.

   It's a very beautiful restaurant both inside and out. The food is very good. The service is excellent and it's a consistently excellent dining experience.
