   Our second visit was just as good as the first. The owners/managers know how to run a good restaurant. Happy hour is a good value.

   We have started to become regulars at this restaurant. The food and service never cease to amaze us. We enjoy certain dishes on the regular menu like the stuffed salmon. However they always create new dishes for the season. Plus they have an awesome happy hour menu. We will continue to dine here on a regular basis.

   We eat at Copper River at least once a month. I booked Friday 14th (yes Valentine’s Day) for wife and 12 year old son. Wife and son went in while I parked, they were “stuck” in a small table by the west door emergency exit. There were over 6 booths and many other tables available. When I found them I went back up to the hostess and requested on of the six empty booths which we were moved to. Our server was Likolehu and she was exceptional. We had the Pretzel appetizer and the Vegas roll. Both were okay, the roll was a bit spicy. Our entrees were: Rib Eye - $39.99 Steelhead - $28.99 Filet Mignon - $39.99 It’s pretty hard to mess up meat unless you don’t cook it properly. The steelhead can depend on the sauce they put on it. The Rib Eye was cooked properly, a bit small but okay. The steelhead was a little over cooked (dry) the sauce helped it go down. The Filet was dismal. While cooked properly, it looked like a small hammer patty with some “gravy” on it. It was so bad the 12 year old preferred to eat part of my Rib Eye and some French fries. Both adults had to adult beverages which again were okay. We finished it off with the cookie ice cream. I understand they were busy, and our waitress was exceptional. I could have complained to the manager, but in all honesty I didn’t want the meal covered or a free dessert, which sometimes feels like it when people complain. The worst part was when the kiddo says; “ I don’t think we should come here ever again.” The bill was $198.83, I left a $50 tip, waitress was great.

   Lovely Valentines Day dinner with family. Everyone was so kind and attentive. Truly enjoyed every aspect of our time at Copper River.

   Staff was super friendly. Manager checked in several times, affable and appreciated. This is a favorite family restaurant for us, but my king salmon was disappointing and dry this time. Off night. We will return.

    Tables very close to the point where the people next to us weighed in on our conversation (eek!) drinks took forever (food received before drinks). But I still like it and the food is good - family is happy every time we go so we will return.
