   What happened to Columbia? If there was a zero star option this would be the place to visit. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left it was horrible. Let’s start with service, there was none. Slow, a 20 minute disappearance between check in’s, asked for a coke and extra wine glass when our meal came, it showed up basically with the bill! Onto the food, aside from the salad which remains great, my paella was terrible, a pile of mush, chicken that was rock hard dry and tasted as if cooked two days ago. My son’s mahi was also a dry piece of ruined fish. When our server returned from vacation and we hastily as for a check to end the nightmare, we complained. He asked what we did not like, shared same review and of course this time returned promptly with the full bill and said we let them know…. All I can say is save your time and money, with so many great options this now tourists trap should be avoided!

   Always a treat to visit at The Columbia. Service is prompt, attentive and friendly. Food is simply delicious. No matter what you order, it’s all very good. This visit we both ordered the classic 1905 salad which is filled with their special ham, cheese, olives, top notch tomatoes and of course the table side made dressing. I ordered the Ropa Vieja which was tender beef in a tasty sauce with green pepper, tomato and onion. Service with white rice and plantains. My husband had the classic yellow rice and chicken. Also very good. And of course the best Cuban bread anywhere, La Sugenda Bakery, came with our salad. Didn’t order sangria this trip but it’s always great! Don’t miss if your visiting or make a trip there if your local.

   Great food and atmosphere. Service was beyond excellent. We had the "1905" salad, Devil Crab Croquettes, Champiñones Rellenos, El Combo de Cuba, Flan, and white chocolate bread pudding. Victoria treated us like royalty. All was delicious. We'll be back soon.

   Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen in dem traditionellen Restaurant. Sehr viel Auswahl an leckeren Speisen und Getränken. Service ist Mega gut.

   What a beautiful, historic restaurant. The old world ambiance is unique and the food is unmatched! We tried the Snapper, the Pork and the Beef. All were delicious! Our server, Amanda was a true pro and her presentation was fantastic! You have to have the 1905 Salad or you’ll miss out on the best you’ve ever tasted!

   My wife and I celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary at the Y-bor city Columbia Restaurant in Tampa, Florida. We had reservations and arrived a few minutes late and were seated almost immediately. Our Waiter "Keith" anticipated our needs and was very good. When Keith found out that we were there to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary he alerted the Manager who came to our table introduced himself and presented us with a congratulations card which was very thoughtful. The food was very very good, the Sangria was excellent and the "White Chocolate Bread Pudding" was to die for. We will be returning to the Columbia every chance we get for the food, service and ambiance. Regards, Greg and Brenda

    Being accustomed to the atmosphere at the Columbia in St Armand's Circle, sitting in the room with and next to the bar was quite loud and chaotic. This restaurant is very popular and busy at 2 pm on Sunday, yet with a reservation, wonderful and a must enjoy. Do not skip their 1905 salad. Phenomenal!
