The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    This is my favorite Spanish food restaurant they have great food great service and it's very romantic. The 1905 salad is the best salad in the whole world

    A historic guided tour of Columbia Restaurant was such a unique and personal touch to the experience. With Mike’s thoughtful planning and Mark’s attentive service, it’s no wonder everything felt so exceptional. The ambiance and decor there are iconic, and it’s wonderful to hear that the food quality matched the rest of the evening. A perfect way to honor a 60th birthday!

    I recently had the pleasure of dining with my favorite colleagues David & Brendan at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The historic charm of the restaurant, with its beautiful Spanish tile and vibrant decor, set the perfect tone for the evening. The service was exceptional. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. We started with the famous "1915 Salad," which was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We decided to indulge in a variety of Tapa's and it was a feast for the senses – perfectly seasoned with tender seafood, chicken, and empanadas. Every bite was incredible! The dessert, a classic "Flan," was the perfect end to the meal – creamy, sweet, and absolutely divine. The live music added a delightful touch, creating a festive, yet relaxed ambiance. Overall, the Columbia Restaurant exceeded all expectations. The combination of incredible food, attentive service, and the rich history of the place made for a dining experience that I will certainly be returning to. Highly recommend this gem in Ybor City!

    Columbias' never disappoints! We were greeted with many smiling faces as we entered the restaurant and promptly escorted to our table seated in the most amazing and colorful courtyard. I would highly recommend the Mahi-Mahi "Cayo Hueso" grilled to perfection combined with yellow rice, yuca and plantains. Delicious!!! The staff and servers were very professional and attentive. It made our dining experience one that we will never forget.

    We had Luisa as our waitress. She was awesome. Very funny & had great menu recommendations. Their food is so good, I’m getting hungry just typing this thinking about the red snapper.

    Amber was an excellent server. She was very attentive and took great care of us. Our 1905 salads were very good as well. We had a great time celebrating my birthday.
