Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana,"and fresh seafood specialties. Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax outdoors on our patio, or inside our Mediterranean-style dining rooms filled with hand-painted tiles and family heirlooms.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365 days a year, including all holidays.

    Our waiter, Max, was fantastic. Very attentive and helpful. This is one of our favorite restaurants and, sadly, the food main entrees were atrocious. “Langosta a la Reina”, lobster stuffed with crab, don’t bother with it. Very, very small portion, very, very big price. The vegetables that come with it were just bad. The fillet mignon was dry, poorly seasoned. It came with “maduros” and they were dry and bitter. The Olive oil cake was also bad, but not the ice cream it came with. As always, their bread kicked butt and so did the “Croquetas de Pollo” and the flan dessert. On such an important day, Valentine’s, the kitchen did not bring their A-game. We were terribly disappointed.

    Very worthwhile to have a different offering from the norm. This restaurant group dates back to 1905 in Florida and 1959 in St. Armands.

    The tableside preparation of both food and drinks is always a delight—especially the expertly crafted sangria and signature 1905 salad. However, it does make navigating the already crowded space a bit challenging. The waitstaff are highly professional and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. One improvement would be for the staff delivering meals to also clear away empty plates. Overall, a lovely dinner with great service and atmosphere.
