   Amazing time celebrating my partner’s birthday. The food and cocktails were so delicious. They really went above and beyond to make it a special experience. Thank you to everyone at Club A!

   Dined here as a family with our two teenage sons. We had a later reservation, but was able to dine earlier with no issues. Sat at a lovely round table by the fireplace. The restaurant is intimate with charm and character. Very old school looking. Service was attentive and kind. The owner greeted us, chatted with our sons, and told us that he’s been in business for 47 years. What an accomplishment! We had the porterhouse for 4 and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, with a good mixture of tourists and local New Yorkers. Highly recommend.

   Our favorite restaurant! We ordered the oysters, seafood platter, filet, branzino, and onion rings. What a great meal! Elegant atmosphere and professional waitstaff.

   Have eaten there at least 10 times and have yet to have a bad meal. And for steak it is reasonably priced.

   We hadn’t been here for a while. Now I know why. We were seated immediately and our drinks came shortly after. That was the good part. My wife and I are seniors. We often share dishes as we did tonight. The Club A salad was chunks of onion and pieces of bacon with a few tasteless tomatoes. We shared a strip steak which was not as tasty as we are used to. The baked potato and the dessert were good. We essentially had one meal for $175 including drinks and a tip. In summary, there are better steakhouses with better cuts of meat on the upper east side.

    Yet another memorable night at our neighborhood favorite, Club A. It was a family dinner, and they were especially gracious to my 5-year old who is a huge fan the mac n' cheese and the cheese cake. The staff is professional and attentive and caters to all types of tables. There's a nice mix of family, business, and date-night tables, and the chemistry works due to the great ambiance, seating arrangement, and service. Food always comes out right away and never disappoints. We look forward to returning!
