Citrus Grillhouse is an American bistro-style casual seaside eatery. Dishes are simple classics with Italian and Mediterranean inspired origins. Executive Chef Scott Varricchio’s creative plates have been described as ‘approachable comfort food bursting with flavor’. Very enjoyable lunch at Citrus! Our server Linda was very prompt and helpful with menu questions. My Salmon Tartine was excellent. The Trio of Minis was a tasty dessert to end the meal!

I would highly recommend you call before you go on a Sunday and make sure they have a decent selection. We viewed the menu online and it looked great. They opened at 5 and we arrived on time for our 5:30 reservation on Sunday. We were greeted by the hostess who said they had a very limited menu because they ran out of food during the week and they can’t order more on Sunday. There were 5 entree choices, no bread and a handful of “appetizers“ which were not at all appealing. Nothing we were hoping to order was available. $300 for 4 people and we left hungry.

Have been coming here for years when we visit Vero in the spring. Food and service were excellent. Wait for food was exceptionally long. Waiter said the kitchen got behind as this is the start of the busy season.

Our server seemed uninformed about some menu items. I ordered a social and she didn’t know that it was no longer available. The food was really average for the prices.disappointing after previous great experiences

We have eaten here often and always raved about our experience. Last night was disappointing. We made the reservation a month ago and were given a table that was abutting a service door and not outside as we requested even though other tables were available. And the other tables never filled. The service was rushed. “Hurry up order, hurry up so I can clear the table”. At $50 a dish, the dining should be leisurely. Food was still as good as ever. But the experience was not.
