   The service was substandard. We felt like they were more concerned about rushing us through our dinner rather than providing us with exceptional service which was our expectation for a restaurant that touts high quality of food and high prices. The staff basically basically dropped the food and ran away. The ribeye steak that we ordered which is what I bet most people order at Chop was full of gristle and I couldn’t chew it. When I brought it to the servers attention, although they offered another option, they related the cooks response to my complaint with a lack of concern for my satisfaction. They said, “ this is what a rivet steak is made of..” The portions were very small and there was nothing special about any dish we ordered. The noise level too high to enjoy any part of our dinner, until some very disruptive patrons finally left the restaurant. Very dissatisfied with the entire experience especially when socked with a 150$ bill with no comp for the poor quality steak.

   We had a fantastic evening , loved being seated in Aleta's section, great service, wonderful food, as usual.

   Everything was so delicious and Adam was an amazing waiter. Definitely order the crostinis, they are to die for. I'm allergic to mushrooms, but they were super careful about that allergy when my friend ordered the Mushroom Ravioli, which we (and Adam) joked as a murder pasta. Friend was SOOO in love with it, and I am safe and happy my friend enjoyed it! She says "Thanks Mike--ADAM! ADAM, sorry!"

   It’s always a lovely experience however, the food was not hot and the asparagus on 3 separate orders were awful. Cold and no seasonings. I will go back again because it’s one of the nicest places to eat in Door but, something needs to be corrected to make sure your food is served hot. We were a family of 6 and it was a cerebration dinner…it was disappointing this time around. The servers and Hostess were great!

   My family comes here every Saturday night in the summer. Tonight was all agreed Chop was on it’s A game. It was the best food we ever had here. Well done, staff!

   All 4 at our table considered this the best meal we have ever had anywhere in all of our years of coming to Door County. We all chose from the 3 course early dining menu. Our food was exquisite. Everything delicious and perfectly done. Our service was impeccable- thank you to our server Brea. We cannot wait to come back again.

    Very disappointed that we made reservations and had to sit on the bottom floor, two people checking on our reservation we not very nice, we asked to sit upstairs and told us no room, we had ziggy for a waiter who was awesome, just very sad that they made him work the whole bottom floor, we have been going to chop for a very long time, disappointed in the two hostess deciding we’re to put us, felt like we were a inconvenience , plus no WiFi on the bottom floor, maybe we should go somewhere else for dinner that we didn’t feel like we were a bother
