Casa Orinda has been serving the finest Western and Italian food in the area for the past 84 years. We are famous for our fried chicken, prime beef, and classic Italian pasta, chicken, and veal dishes -- everything being made from scratch in our kitchen using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Our full service mahogany bar is a popular stop for locals and visitors looking for a nice refreshment and a hearty meal in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We have three dining rooms, each with a slightly different character afforded by our hand-formed brass hearth fireplace, Western original art collection, famous antique gun collection, and alluring floral arrangements.

The food was subpar. The veal was horrible. Our waitress came to our table one time only. This was not at all like our first experience.

Had another great dinner at the Casa. Have gone there for years, but last night's dinner was terrific. The minestrone soup was delicious, and the rack of lamb on special was fantastic! Would have rated the whole evening a 5, but they were so busy (Friday night, I get it) that the service was stretched thin and affected our overall enjoyment, but not enough to keep us from going back.

Sunday night at the Casa wasn't as good as usual luck warm food, slow service while not so crowded. Also cold room. Disappointing

Everything is roses and only one thing! I requested seating by the fireplace when I made my reservation online! But that didn’t happen!

Every year I celebrate my birthday dinner at Casa Orinda for the best fried chicken in the Bay Area. Why? Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent ambiance. They are the best of the best and I highly recommend.
