   We had Jen as our server, and she was awesome. The food was great, and she gave us good advice on how much food to order for our table of 13. The other staff members were friendly and helpful too. Awesome experience.

   Portions were way too large for 2 people. All pastas and entrees are family style with no other option. The menu nor restaurant write up relayed this information. For a mother and 8-yo son, they brought a platter of spaghetti and six, 3-inch meatballs. We left 3/4 of the spaghetti and 4 meatballs….

   Diners of three different carmines locations. It appears they have lost their way. Calamari fresh but overcooked. Linguini in clam sauce submerged in tasteless broth with very few clams. Used to be our favorite Italian restaurant. Our server Rae was just the sweetest!

   We enjoyed because of the company - we had a large party. Food was meh. Several of the sauces were watery. Prices were high. House wine should have been less than $50 per bottle. Service was spotty. Good when they were attending to us but several times we were looking for our server. It was just okay. Wouldn't return.

   Overall good, BUT, Booked a table for two, they tried seating us right behind a waiter station and a waiter was there actively bumping into the back of one of the chairs, so we declined that table and had to wait for another one. Server seemed busy and quick to the point not super personable, but friendly none the less. Food was great and good value, restaurant is VERY oriented for big families and parties, not really meant for 2 unless you plan on having lots of leftovers!!!! Overall would go back with a larger party but wouldn’t for a date night.

   From the excellent service to the amazing food everything was great. They were extremely busy, but our server took great care of us. Some of the other employees stopped by the table to see if everything was to our liking. Wonderful place to eat and enjoy.

   We were there 4/10 to eat before the Caps game. We heard that you could get your left overs after the game. Our server was awesome, fast, knowledgeable and friendly. His name was Mark. The food was below average for itialian food. The preemeal bread looked amazing but was dry and didn't really have any flavor. The angel hair pasta was very average. The meatballs had no flavor either other than breadcrumb. We also got pomadoro, which tasted burnt and was below average. The cocktails however were INCREDIBLE and reasonably priced. Meals at Carmines are served family style, so they are giant portions. We knew this and when we learned that we could bring the leftovers home after the game we ordered two entrees so we could have leftovers. However, after the game they couldn't find ours, manager on duty looked and looked. Finally after complaining we wanted a refund and not a gift card (because we aren't going back) we left. Shortly after leaving I got a call saying they found our left overs and to come back and get them. We did. The leftovers had been sitting out somewhere for approximately 4 hours at this time, not refrigerated. The manager still tried to say they were good. Gross. Never once did the manager appologize for the mix up. I get it that it was the end of likely a long day, but this fellow needs a class in customer service. Maybe the region of Italy that insipres this food is not for us, but over all the food was sub par. We really miss Pasta Plus in Laurel.
