Located on West Broadway in South Boston, Capo Restaurant is a rustic neighborhood gathering place serving fine Italian food and spirits in an energetic and comfortable setting. Our cozy, open concept kitchen, offers a carefully crafted menu consisting of fresh house made pastas, smokey wood-fired pizzas, and a wide selection of classic Italian dishes.

Did not know that Tuesdays are gluten free everything. Would have picked a different night had there been a disclosure. Also, Capo should add ability to choose high table or regular table, like every other restaurant does.

Restaurant was so festively decorated. Seated promptly at reservation time. Service outstanding!! We live the gluten free good night on Tuesday and feel safe dining there as celiacs.

Every aspect of our dinner was fantastic, everything including all of the small details: the bread, Christmas tree, and fireplace, was phenomenal.

We booked the restaurant and asked for a table near the fireplace but they were all set aside for parties of at least 8 or more. Why would a restaurant with a fireplace not set aside tables for a romantic couple. Totally a missed opportunity. Food was meh! I would go to the north end or even just up the road to bar volpe instead. More a place for young 20 something’s who are more interested in meeting others than a for a good quality Meal. Staff was friendly.

Hannah was great. Another server (blonde but didn’t catch her name) worked impeccably in tandem with Hannah. Didn’t rush us but was efficient with timing. Food was so so good and perfect on a chilly night. Great experience.
