   My husband and I like to come there for special occasions, the prime rib is always awesome, it was my husbands 77 th birthday and we came there with our son,daughter in law and grandson. My son had the short ribs and my grandson had the rib eye,both were very good. Myself,husband and daughter in law all had the prime rib,all of them were fairly dry and tough. We were very disappointed 😞

   For our ninth Valentine's Day dining pleasure at the Cannery Restaurant, we were greeted with wonderful red roses and a spectacular pair for our specific table as well all arranged by my loving and might I say romantic too Wife . Sure we mulled over the entire dinner menu, trying again as we always do ... just what to have. So this time we had a Manhattan and Cosmos cocktail. I have had a Manhattan in Manhattan, but the Cannery one was even better . We decided on the one hundred dollar Valentine's Day special and we were not disappointed. All the servings were Chef quality and in particular the Mushroom Wellington was superb and it should go on the permanent menu. The Chateaubriand was out of this world with tasting pleasure .... ordered medium Rare . Of course the dessert was another winner from the kitchen , which by the way never ceases to amaze us with the quality of good food forthcoming . Our wine was Italian Pinot Grigio, and worked effortlessly with our dining . The Servers , and once again we were delighted to have Melanie at our table , along with a delightful Blonde Lady . And even though it was busy for the servers , Derek managed to wend his way over to our table .23, and greet us which just made our day more complete. KLB

   Second time dining here, both experiences have been excellent. Found a special table for us…celebrating our friendship the day before Valentines. Food was plenty and prepared with care and attention Plates were HOT, which means the food remains HOT.

   Unbelievable delicious gourmet meal; bone marrow was above a highest expectations; shirt ribs done perfectly, double brie superb. Wine - sue Ann Staff Riesling the best ever i had and today we are heading to Jordan Winery , which is around the corner from NOTL.

   Absolutely fabulous Brunch today, my birthday! Debbie was a super server with a lovely personality and very attentive to our needs. The food was awesome, very tantalizing and fresh. I especially enjoyed the hot dishes, in particular the pasta. Also, discovered a new fruit I had never tried which was deliciously delicate, white honeydew melon. Will definitely come again. Thank you.

   The food was delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere was comfortable and mellow. The wait staff were very amicable. Overall great experience!

   As always we had another great meal and experience with Lisa as our server who always go above and beyond to make the night absolutely perfect. The cannery restaurant at pillar and post is our favourite place and we are local so we go often and it’s always amazing.

   One of the best eating out experiences we have had in a long time.Jake our server was outstanding, food delicious and ambience beautiful, great place to celebrate a romantic dinner . Definitely a 5 out of 5
