A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Northwest Highway) in 1997, he was sharpening his professional – and knife – skills at several well-respected Chicago dining establishments including Ambria, Spiagia, Un Grand Cafe and the Park Hyatt. Joe lives in Park Ridge, a few short miles from the restaurants, so expet to see him in both restaurants assuring a quality experience for his customers. On days off, Joe can be found at home with his wife, Mary Kay and their 3 boys. Reservations by phone: 773-775-0909. Food was not great. Scallops came out cold and were overcooked, entrees had way too much sauce and salt.

We have a perfect lunch! We were a party of nine, the restaurant was packed, and we still had amazing, attentive, timely service. The food was great! We will be back!

We have been to Cafe Touché several times. Always good. The mussel appetizer is a favorite. A lovely Sunday dinner.

Our server was outstanding. We frequent Cafe Touche because their service is always top notch, the cocktails are unique & delicious. The food is always great and homemade soups A++!

Was over 4yrs ago since my last Cafe Touche meal, and it still remains one of my favorites in this part of Greater Chicago. Always a diverse, unique menu with specials, friendly and attentive staff, and value is spot-on. Had the goat cheese salad, trout special, and bananas foster…all were great. I highly recommend Cafe Touche!
