   This is the most amazing restaurant. Starts with the greeting even before you go inside. Friendly English speaking staff. Going upstairs to the restaurant’s main seating area is like entering a magical tropical paradise. Trees, lights and sculptures with each table situated so you can see everything yet feel you have complete privacy. The sommelier explains the wine and beverage list. The waiter explains each item on the menu, not just the specials, but every starter and entree. Answering every question and providing recommendations based on your personal preferences. While the service is impeccable, it’s the food that is amazing. We had the fresh tuna tartare and Sea Bass and grilled Octopus. All three were delicious, but try the Octopus. It is so succulent and grilled to perfection. Absolutely the best I’ve ever tried. This restaurant is a must do when in PV. My only concern is making this place so popular I won’t be able to get a reservation next year!!!

   Normally a very nice dining experience. Last night we arrived asked for a garden table and was told the garden was first come first served. The hostess proceeded to take us to a table that was a bit out of garden and when we asked to be seated we were told those tables are reserved. Okay. Then we ordered a bottle of the Thierry Rose. Thierry is the chef. The sommelier comes over and tells us the wine smells like bubble gum and tastes like bananas. In other words we should be buying a more expensive wine. If the wine is so terrible why are they selling it?. Sort of weird vibes at an expensive restaurant. The food was good. The staff sort of ruined the experience

   One of best dining experiences we have had. Lovely garden surrounds you while dining. The staff is attentive and welcoming. We had the Chef’s tasting menu and it was a delight! From start to finish it was a memorable evening. Highly recommend.

   We’re devoted fans for many years- so reluctantly we say there’s signs of slippage at this revered restaurant. Mostly quality control issues- food temperatures, a switch in ingredients possibly due to cost or availability. The tuna tartare is still outstanding- but at least 1/3 smaller. The cheese appetizer was switched from a Brie to a cheese that just doesn’t melt. ( not a good substitute) . The short rib was cooked but basically dry - so it looks good but clearly no one is tasting in the kitchen- which is a quality issue. The foie gras dessert is ( possibly) just a bad joke. Folks from out of town still enjoyed fish, soft shell crab, and many other dishes, but the “edge” is definitely not there. Minor complaint- two hardworking musicians deserve a piano that has been tuned. Hope with all our hearts that these things are addressed.

    The only things that was not followed was my instructions about my guest’s anniversary and the amazing mirror tray which was brought out after the dessert had been served.
