Established in 1989, Cafe Avanti is in a league of its own. Fine traditional Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. It's family owned and operated, and home away from home for Miami Beach locals. The staff is welcoming and hospitable, and are sure to make you feel like a regular even as a first time guest. Chef Constantino Cadavid has been at the helm of Cafe Avanti for over 21 years. It's reputation for consistency is like no other. From veal meatballs and tuna tartare, to osso bucco and frutta di mare, every dish is absolutely decadent. Desserts are homemade & the ricotta cheesecake is the best you will ever have. Parking is easy and meters are turned off at 6pm. Whether you sit at the bar, cozy brick room, a romantic table by the window, or have a large party, Cafe Avanti will provide you with the perfect experience that you are looking for.

Everything is perfect in this neighborhood restaurant. Shared branzino and blackened salmon both amazing. Ate with spinach and pasta. Pasta good but too much oil on it. Next time we will ask for light garlic and oil. Drinks well made. Servers very patient and efficient. If you often, they remember you and know what you need. Pillow brought to elderly guests when requested. Drink order remembered. Great place for all. Bread home made and delicious.

Place reminds me of an NYC upper side Italian restaurant . Excellent food, great baked clams and entries. good value and well worth going

First off the food is on par or better than the best Italian establishments throughout. The Vittello Piccata is the best I’ve ever eaten. Let alone these prices are the same as 10 years ago! A definite must !

My husband and I went for dinner after a long day and enjoyed everything about that place. Food was fantastic, great ambience and service. Definitely a place we recommend!

We’re locals and enjoy having a family owned restaurant in the neighborhood that consistently delivers quality good meals in a hospitable environment. It can get uncomfortably noisy on weekends so be prepared to having your ears ringing a few hours after leaving. We enjoy the Straciatella Soup, Avanti Salad, Avanti Chicken, Veal Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo and several desserts the best in our opinion being the Ricotta Cheesecake.
