    Our server Jorge (pronounced Horhay) was outstanding!!! Personable, professional and so efficient the entire time! The food was outstanding! Although it was incredibly busy on Christmas Day evening, the staff was amazing from the hostess to our server!!! The Boathouse in White Rock is somewhere that we would be happy to visit again and again!!! May start a new family tradition of dining out on Christmas Day as it was such an enjoyable experience!

    Steak & Lobster Main course Med rare steak = almost well done. Mashed potatoes = yesterdays baked potatoes mashed? half way prep to twice baked? awful Lobster - tiny, limp and half raw? Lobster bisque = excellent Not impressed for a price fixed Christmas Day dinner = $75.00 per person Steak was replaced quickly Great waitress service Dessert - creme brulee or pumpkin pie - better at White Spot we were the second table seated when they opened so it was NOT BUSY

    Family Christmas Eve dinner with great variety of choices for their three fixed courses - all four of us enjoyed our selections! Festive decorations and great service! First time here and we really enjoyed it . Great location near the pier, which was all lit up for the holidays!

    Felt a bit blind sided by the $75 three course menu, the only one on offer. Should have been publicized more and we should have been made aware

    Seated immediately on arrival. Drink order was taken and delivered quickly. Food was very flavorful. Menu had items for those that cannot eat shellfish. Table was cleared quickly of empty plates. White Rock was a great setting for a post meal walk.

    We have been to the Boathouse a few times and always had a good experience but last night was subpar. We took a client out and we and he were pretty disappointed. The server was nice but at the end of our 4 course meal we still had untensils, dishes and hot sauce, and glasses from our first course. The food came out at a good pace but the 2 tenderloins were tough, the crab was cold and flavourless. The lobster tail was very very small and we did mention this to the server and he did bring two more, so that was nice. We spent about $1100.00 and it just wasn’t near as good as we had hoped.
