Food was really good - however, the restaurant was out of horseradish (for oysters) and parmesan cheese (children's spaghetti). Large party (30 people) took several waiters ( including ours), so we didn't get the normally good attention which the restaurant probably usually provides.

Our server, Jasmin, was terrific. I ordered the wrong drink (brain hiccup) and she took it back without making me feel bad for being an idiot and brought the one I meant to order my salad was delish, my husband cleaned up his bowl of bean soup. He had the mahi mahi catch of the day and I had the low country bouillabaisse. Best broth ever and the seafood was fresh. It could have been shared. No room for dessert.

The service was good. The food was very mediocre with somewhat bizarre combinations. For what is served, it is overpriced.

Overpriced with a slow kitchen. Mediocre food with a menu that doesn’t have a lot of options. Nicer places in town at lower price points.

Had 6oz filet that came with asparagus and baked potato. The filet was good. More medium than medium rare. The baked potato was small and I had 3 asparagus stalks. Not much for $39. Would have like a larger potato and definitely more asparagus.

Thank you for your feedback, Nancy. We're glad you enjoyed the filet but we appreciate your input on portion sizes. Your comments help us improve and ensure a better experience for our guests. We hope to see you again soon!

Rolled into Savanna on Jan 2 and found Boar's Head Grill and Tavern open for business. The location is on the waterfront and depending on where you park you might have to navigate some stairs (avoid the 'historic stairs' if you can). It was a quiet night with plenty of open tables at 7PM and the service was fast and efficient. My wife had the Sheshell Soup and BBQ shrimp. I had the Stuffed Shrimp. We enjoyed our meals very much. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty chill with it being the 2nd. Overall, enjoyed the meal and experience. Would go back again (though there are a lot of restaurants in Savannah that look lovely).
