   Had a great overall experience with good service and general ambience of Black Angus, Northridge. Being a member of the Black Angus Restaurant Rewards Program makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. The Prime Rib cuts of beef were perfectly cooked to order. The platter appetizer entree was tasty except for the over fried zucchini. Cheese Cake New York Style Dessert was terrific! But my compliments to "Ashley," our waitress, who my our meals that much more better and thoroughly enjoyable. Kudos!

   The soda we ordered was served on a broken glass. When server was notified, he contacted the manager and she came to the table and made the comment that she didn't believe there were any glass chips in the drink. She didn't extend any apology or courtesy. Service was slow, it appeared the server had too many tables to take care. The filets and the sides were good. Salads didn't tasted fresh.

   This is the first time in a long time that the service was less than pleasant. The wait time for the server to come over was 15 minutes at least. The bus boy was more attentive than the server. He came over to our table first and brought us bread and took our drink order. He brought us the drinks and still no waitress. Finally when she showed up she wasn’t very friendly. Very short with the apology. The food order came out wrong and again a long wait. Two tables came after us but were able to get service, food and pay before our table.

   Steaks were cooked per order, server was excellent. Green beans were fibrous and some could not be eaten. Everything else was very good. They  ran out of helium for the celebration balloons I had ordered. So no balloons for my birthday daughter but dinner was fun and we left with our leftovers to enjoy tomorrow.

   The porterhouse meal was an exceptional meal and value. Thank you to the total staff from server, chef, bus, and management. Everyone participated in a great experience. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks again!

   Service was a little slow despite relatively few customers. Our appetizer came after our salads, so the timing was a little off. Otherwise, it was great, good was hot and delicious.

   We do dine here frequently but this time it was not good. Food was OK but New York Strip was not that tender and had grizzle. Salad was ordered with dressing on the side but the salad served had too much ranch dressing already on it. Service was poor. The server was not attentive and not friendly. She just dropped our food and disappeared. We requested extra bread but it never arrived. She acted like she really didn't like her job. Perhaps she was overloaded and did not have any help. Hopefully next time will be an improvement.
