   It was Valentine’s weekend and our first visit. The server was Kiley and she was as sweet as could be, called us by our names the entire time, was very attentive without being at the table too much. The Chef came by and visited with us and said hello to everyone at the other tables as well and let me tell you about the food. It’s beyond amazing! We had the Steak Salerno and Tuna appetizer, snapper and grouper special and cream brûlée. One of the best meals we’ve ever had! We will be back and often!

   This is a great local restaurant. There is some disconnect with Open Table reservations and Bistecca. I booked our reservation for 2/13 on 1/27 for 2ppl at 6:45pm. On 2/13 at or around 4:00 I received a notice from the restaurant saying that we will not be seated until 7:15pm. There was no real reason offered and after some back and forth via the Open Table app, I explained my surprise that a reservation booked 2+ weeks in advance is bumped 2+hours before the scheduled time. I even used the Jerry Seinfeld line: “Isn’t the purpose of the reservation to “reserve” a table?” Also, the day before I confirmed that we’re going to be there. Please explain why. I said we’ll find another restaurant. Then they came back saying they would honor our original reservation. Which was fine, but why put a loyal customer through the stress of rescheduling a long planned dinner at the last minute? This is not the first time. This happened before but we were not advised about the delay, until we arrived slightly before our reservation. That time it was a 15-20min delay. Again, we love this restaurant, and once you’re seated, it’s always a great experience. But time is precious and when you’re juggling work schedules and life, shouldn’t going to dinner, be a relaxing and enjoyable experience?

   Kiley was fantastic ! We were very well taken care of (as always at Bistecca) The Valentines Steak Special was to die for. We always do special occasions at Bistecca because the service and experience is always fantastic!

   We had an excellent pre-Valentine meal for four. It was a busy night, but our server, Hunter, didn't let us leave wanting for anything. The Chef even stopped by to check on our meal. Bistecca is a definite must-visit in Highland Village.

   Atmosphere is excellent. Menu is varied. The owner came to our table to talk to us. The food was amazing. Highly recommend Bistecca.

   We had a wonderful experience at Bistecca this evening. Our server was Lauren and she was delightful. Our food was truly outstanding. The wedge salad with Gorgonzola was so good. Then we had the red snapper with angel hair and lemon berre blanc. It was so delicious. And we finished our evening with soufflé’s for each of us. Yum. I look forward to our next dining experience at Bistecca.
