   Preston provided extraordinary customer service for our birthday celebration today! The Chef honored our dietary requirements by preparing my vegan meal as well as the birthday honoree’s meal separately from our table mates. Also, Preston captured the perfect picture of us as a keepsake. We shall return!

   Our reservation was for four 530, we didn’t get seated until almost 6:15 PM. The manager came over and talk to us gave us a free drink, but still it was total inconvenience for on our part. The service was mediocre not what I’ve always known for the Benihana Our entire experience below level.

   Our cook was not very interactive! The cook next to us made us laugh and interacted more than our own cook!

   Extremely loud. They sat us at a table with 12 people. My son did not have a plate for the chef to put his food on because there wasn’t enough room. The waitress was rude and said if we wanted to go back up to the front and wait for another table we could. The lady sitting next to us took up a spot with her stroller instead of being polite and leaving the space for my son to have a plate so he could eat. The hosts at the front were snotty when I requested a table, however, once I made them a manager aware he found us a table immediately and was nothing but pleasant. The food was mediocre, but the company of my two boys made it all worth it. We will be back again because my children love Benihana, however, it won’t be my first choice.

   My family and I have been coming to this Benihana for years. My mom and I made a spur of the moment reservation and decided to go. We were seated quickly which was great however the overall experience from start to finish was overwhelming and overall unenjoyable. The table directly across from us was 8 children all under the age of 10 literally running around screaming even banging on the grill. Their parents nor staff asked them to settle down for their safety or the experience of the other patrons. Our waitress was polite however she was clearly overwhelmed and stressed. She was moving so quickly she ended up dropping and breaking a glass immediately after she took our order and when we finished our appetizer she spilled all of the sauce all over my mom and didn’t even notice until my mom said something to her when she came back. The waitress also didn’t confirm our order and my mom’s food was wrong. They did comp the appetizer since the sauce was spilled but overall from start to finish was not worth the money that was spent.

   The waitress did a great job at our table. The chef mixed all the vegetables together( onions, mushrooms and zucchini) without asking the table if everyone wanted all the vegetables. I do not like mushrooms so I did not get the vegetables. Never scene this done before. NOT GOOD!!

   We have been going to Benihanas for years, from California to Texas, for the last eight years. De'Jon, our waiter, has provided the best service. I just have to say that he is the best and most consistent. If I could give the Plano location a 10 for service, it would go to De'Jon.

   Went there for a birthday celebration. There were 6 of us. We were seated on time and luckily we had the table to ourselves which allowed us to spread out a little. Food was good. Everyone had a good time

    We went for my wife’s birthday. Chef was fun and had the kids entertained but food was just okay. We felt a little rushed throughout our experience - to go boxes were offered immediately after food was served and again 10 minutes later. It was known it was my wife’s birthday but no dessert was offered - I didn’t even get the dessert that came with my meal or the hot green tea. The server was very busy, he was nice but not very attentive. Mind you it was a crowded night, and people were waiting to be seated so the turn and burn mentality makes sense, but with a service oriented business you should take care of your current customers and not just rushing through to get to the next group.
