   Our waitress was such a sweetheart! I didn't catch her name but s/o to her! Henry, our chef was very nice and considerate. Had a great date night!

   I believe our server’s name was Dee. She was absolutely spectacular and took amazing care of us. It was my son’s 5th birthday and she went out of her way to take extra care of him and celebrate. I also had a special request because I’m a pescatarian and she took care of it without blinking an eye and everything she did was done with a smile. One of the best server’s I’ve encountered in a long time. The food and chef Tak were also great but Dee was most memorable.

   Over priced and poor service. We went to celebrate a birthday. We were seated in a booth that made us have to lean forward to eat instead of being able to adjust a chair like most tables have. It took longer than it should before we were even seen by a waitress. Once she arrived food order was taken. The cooking chef arrived even before our salads and soup was brought to the table. Food was okay but not as good as previous times. Once we were finish even before our waitress asked what dessert we wanted, we were presented with the check which was not correct. I told the waitress that we were supposed to have dessert, which she said was true. She then brought back the correct check and again I had to ask for the desserts, which were finally brought. As far as the cost of the meal. Very overpriced! Benihana not charges an up charge for almost everything. The rice that comes with the dinner now is just steamed rice, where it used to be vegetable fried rice. Now even for that it’s a $6.00 up charge, which is outrageous and if you want another kind it’s even more expensive. Bottom line is that unless you want to spend a fortune for an average meal with a below average presentation, I’d stay away from Benihana.

   Celebrating my daughter's 15th birthday, we had a negative experience with the Hibachi chef (named Q), who had an attitude, did not smile, did not interact, and seemed to be cooking only because she had to. On the other hand, the server was really nice, attentive, and provided good information about the menu.

   When we walked in, manager was working on schedules and didn’t acknowledge us. There were many staff just standing around and myself and others seemed to be confused on what to do. Food was great, but the staff needs to be retrained. With the money you spend there, you’d expect better customer service.

   We go to the Miramar Benihana at least twice a year. The bill is $400-$500 but this time the food was mediocre. The four of us ordered Lobster, Shrimp, Filet Mignon , Scallops and we wanted Shrimp fried rice but unfortunately a guest on the other side of the table had a seafood allergy so we all got Chicken fried rice and later the Chef cooked some shrimp and gave us some. My Filet Mignon was not of the quality I felt it should be so I didn’t eat much of it. The Chef and Waiter were both nice and attentive.

   Our server Tori gave us an amazing service . Her hospitality was a perfect ending to our New Years Day. The cook was equally great.
