   I was expecting the impressive Benihana experience that I had heard about. Our waiter was great and personable, but our chef appeared to be a trainee. She dropped her utensils several times, overcooked the lobster, and did not put on a show of any kind. I ordered the wagyu for my wife and the wagyu was absolutely terrible quality meat, it had the marbling of a “select” ribeye, which is to say, none at all. I’m not willing to say for sure it was not Wagyu, but let me put it this way: I have ordered Wagyu both at restaurants and at home. This was either the Wagyu reject pile or not Wagyu at all. All in all, I have had better experiences and better food at Japanese steakhouses in stop malls at 1/3rd the price. Really disappointing and based on this experience, I would never go back.

   For Christmas and its busyness, it was very good. As always the Benihana experience is great. A wonderful presentation of great food.

   Christmas Eve Dinner was tasty but Benihana was short on staff. We did not get drink refills and had to ask three times. Two of our party did not get their rice until the meal was over. Again we asked for our rice three times.

   This is a famous Japanese steakhouse without a single Japanese employee. Everyone spoke Spanish. Our chef was an amateur with no knife skills and no personality that got 2 out of 5 orders completely incorrect. Forgot 1 of only 2 proteins in 2 meals. The waiter forgot the deserts and brought the check. Completely disappointed by the experience but my family enjoyed it so I smiled the whole time. $400++ for a family of 5 for with only 2 beers and the experience e had was offensive.

   Benihana was, without a doubt, the worst Japanese dining experience I've ever had. The food was bland, and for the high prices they charge, the portions were far too small. The quality was disappointing, which really affected my birthday celebration. I need to look for another Japanese restaurant because this experience was just frustrating. They advertised a five-course meal, but we only received a bitter salad and an unseasoned soup—nothing more. It felt like they ruined my birthday, and while my family tried to make it seem nice for the server's sake, the experience was just terrible for the cost. I really don’t understand why people choose to come here.

   Roxana was great, put on a nice show for the birthday and the food was delicious! Diego was very attentive and we never had to wait for anything! Definitely will be back again

   I was so shocked that the chefs were not actual Hibachi Japanese chefs… although our chef, who prepared our food, was 10x better than the other chefs present, still the over all performance was lackluster compared to authentic Japanese Chefs! Not sure what’s happening to the industry… but an Hibachi Restaurants, means authentic cuisines from a true Hibachi Japanese Chef. What I saw was purely not Hibachi. No doubt, I will not return!

    We were a party of 6 and had a great time! Service was attentive and the food was delicious. It may seem a little pricey but you're getting a show and not just food dropped at your table. Definitely worth it for a special night out.
