   We had a 6:15 reservation didn’t get seated till 7pm then the cook didn’t come for what felt like an other hr will not be back to this location we figured we try this location but we are regulars at the Mission Valley location by the time we got home back in National City we had to cancel our other plans Very poor service

   We had a reservation for 7:30 pm that we scheduled a week in advance. Upon arrival, they were a hour behind reservations and informed us that our wait time would be a hour. We didn’t get a table until approximately 9:50 pm.

   We had to wait 1 1/2 ours for our reservation. It was overcrowded and a completed crap show. What a mess. So disappointed

   Horrible! Don’t go. Food is overpriced and not great. The management is the worst!!!! Waited over 2 hours for a reservation. Will NEVER go back!

   The hostess at the front was extremely rude to us. She was tall and had braids on the top of her head and the rest was down. When we got there I asked how long does she think the wait will be. She said very rudely “um we just had a shift meeting and I’m I don’t know another 15 minutes (meanwhile it was 4:11 and our reservation was at 4:00). When we finally got seated and the chef came to the table it was around 6pm. I didn’t know we would get charged an extra anything when the server asked if we wanted fried rice. She charged myself, mom, and my 9 year old for friend rice. On top of all the other food we had. The food tasted great as always and the chef was great.

   Our experience was amazing. We had a VIP with us, but the manager didn't know it. Emily stepped in because we had seating trouble and she took excellent care of us. Our waiter was excellent too. Even our VIP make a sincere comment. Thank you Emily. You are running the show very well! The food was excellent all the way around. We had salad, sushi, streak and veggies.....all that were cooked to perfection.

    First to caveat. Our chef was amazing!!! He was funny and entertaining. I know it was a very busy night for them but I made a 6:45p reservation and our chef didn’t start until 8:15p which with having kids with us was not the best situation. We didn’t start eating our entree until 8:45p and get done with dinner until 10p. But besides that the food was amazing and the servers were very nice. I just expect things quicker with a reservation. If I go back with children I will arrive not hungry and at 5p.
