   Had a wonderful experience at Barbetta celebrating my sisters birthday. The staff was attentive the service was quick but not rushed and the food and drinks were top notch! Will definitely be back.

   The food is soooo bad. The service very bad as well and they dared to ask for 18% gratuity.

   Pasta arrived frozen and the meat was clearly heated in a microwave. Insanely bad quality especially for the prices they are charging. Easily the worst meal I have had in the ten years I’ve lived here.

   Barbets is housed in the brownstones along 46th street so there is no comparing the history of that. We were there during restaurant week so we ordered a price fix menu meal which was delicious. The wait staff was attentive and aware of our theatre timing so though the meal was a little more rushed than we would have liked it was done to accommodate our scheduled show. The tables are packed in a little close but though the restaurant was full it felt cozy and house like. The wait staff was able to move with ease around the path that remained and the complimentary coat check ensured bulky winter wear did not get in the way on the back of the chairs. Though the food we got was delicious my husband had hoped to order a risotto from the main menu rather than the price fix. When we came in we were presented only with the price fix menu. It was not until our mains came that we were informed we could have ordered from the regular menu. Never the less the food was delicious and we were not disappointed with the portion size, the quality or the taste of what we did order. In the end we would highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for making our pre Theatre meal so enjoyable.

   Our second time here pre-theater. First time we chose from the pre-theater pre-fix menu and this time we chose from the restaurant week menu. Lots of good choices. Great bang for your buck. Everything was delicious from the app to the dessert. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. Restaurant is very pretty and quiet and walking distance to most of the theaters. We'll be back.

   The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a classic European feel. The food was outstanding and the service perfect.

   The food was amazing, but was disappointed we were forced to order from the prix-fix menu even though we told them we were not rushing out for a show. Service was mediocre at best. Was difficult flagging down a waiter to order a drink. Then when you did catch someone’s eye to order, they said they do not take orders, someone else did. Seating was very tight and fake trees were hitting 2 people at our table in the head. Room smelled like a dirty old mop. That said, all 6 meals tasted amazing.

    This restaurant is horrible. Only has prefix dinners. So you cannot just order whatever you want as appetizers to sit around and eat for a little bit. The best part about this restaurant is it’s amazing staff who really wanted to take care of us and make sure that we were happy.
