   I just love this place! It's my go-to for dinner before theatre. Somewhat limited dinner menu but everything is quality. Shout out to our waitstaff last night, Donny, for being so attentive to our timeline re: getting to the show. I had made a note when I made the reservation and he commented on it first thing. My friend and I shared the grilled cheese sandwich and the chop salad. The grilled cheese is the best I've had outside my home. Blend of cheeses and bacon jam (yum!); good bread. Chop salad was hearty - avocado and quinoa are a nice touch.

   A terrific corner restaurant, within steps of the Christkindl Market! Great Coffee, Great Food, and Great Views! Highly recommended!

   I like this place for its location. The food is good. The service is outstanding. Had nachos and BLTA sandwich. Big pile of nachos which were tasty with added chicken. The sandwich needs less avocado and more bacon. Side salad was weak and the house made dressing was so-so. When I requested a different table for more room, they were most accommodating. Staff is so nice and helpful. A real plus in Chicago restaurants.

   I didn’t get to order. Service was pretty slow, but the ambiance was good though.

   The service and ambiance were good, but the food was not the best. We had bacon waffles, the loaded potatoes, and the jam biscuit. I would come again for drinks, or maybe to try dinner, but not breakfast.

   Caroline, We apologize that we are not the Atwood that you were expecting from years past. We have made some changes from years past after the pandemic and are striving to make sure we are still provide the same quality and service that any guest would expect when joining us. We have shared your review with the whole team and are using it as a learning tool so that we can make sure to provide quality food and service to all of our guests.     Food was tasty and presently well. Service was slow and server needed to be asked more than once for standard items such as tableware and cream for coffee
