We always enjoy the food here. We usually get risotto but the restaurant week menu was great too. The service is always good. We've been eating there for years and will definitely be back in the future

Asti D’Italia: Where Fine Dining Meets Fine Disappointment – Just Go to Olive Garden Instead If you’ve ever wanted to experience the sheer thrill of donating your hard-earned money to a restaurant that thinks “gourmet” means overpriced mediocrity, welcome to Asti D’Italia—where the prices are high, the portions are low, and the regret is free with every meal. Let’s start with the lasagna—a $37 dish that delivered all the excitement of a frozen Stouffer’s entrée, minus the comforting nostalgia. It wasn’t bad, but for that price, I was expecting something divine, handcrafted, and possibly served by an actual Italian grandmother. Instead, I got a very normal lasagna—one that felt as indifferent to my existence as the waitstaff. Then there was the boar risotto, which for $47, I thought would be a decadent, culinary masterpiece. Instead, it was just slow-cooked pork over some very basic risotto, finished with what I can only describe as “stock gravy”—a term that screams “we gave up halfway through the recipe”. If I wanted that experience, I could’ve dumped a can of Campbell’s over some Minute Rice and saved myself $45. And then, the grand finale—the crab cakes. The menu pictures suggested luscious, golden-brown delicacies, but reality hit hard when I was served three tiny disks, each the size of a half-dollar. For $15, I expected real, substantial crab cakes, not something that looked like they were plucked from the “appetizers for ants” menu. The ambiance? Let’s just say I’ve seen fast-food joints with more character. For a place charging nearly $50 for pork and rice, I expected something a bit more elegant—maybe dim lighting, soft music, a waiter with an exotic accent. Instead, the vibe was more “overpriced Olive Garden meets an airport hotel lobby”, minus the unlimited breadsticks. Final Verdict? Don’t waste your money. Just go to Olive Garden, where for 1/5th the price, you can drown yourself in unlimited breadsticks and salad.

Lovely date night experience! They did get super busy, and our waitress was serving the bar area with our table, so we did feel forgotten a few times. However, we weren’t in any rush. Dinner and food had a comforting homemade feel. But again did take a good amount of time for our 3 course meal, around an hour and a half. Overall, very happy with our experience and will be returning!

The Buffalo Lasagna was excellent as usual. The Butternut Squash soup was a step above that. Even though it was Valentine's Day, the restaurant wasn't noisy and the service levels were top notch.

First time diners here at this cozy restaurant. We will be back. Our server, Alexandria, was great—attentive, knowledgeable (about the menu and the wine list) friendly and helpful. The menu offered something for all: vegetarian, gluten free, small plates, large plates. Three in our party enjoyed the lightly dressed chopped salad and the creamy tomato soup was a big hit. My friend said the carbonara was the best she’s had. I enjoyed the wild boar with a spinach and butternut squash risotto and my husband loved the fettuccine Alfredo. Parking was plentiful. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience. We wish we had a restaurant like this in our Lafayette neighborhood, but this isn’t too far away!

Came in for a birthday around 7:30, service was good at the start. Then once our dinner was done they started moping and sweeeping around us. Once dessert was served a mouse ran around our table. We waited for our car and owner or server hassled us out of the restaurant and started mopping where we were standing. I advise going elsewhere. Especially on a Friday night.

We really enjoyed our experience here. The atmosphere is friendly and casual. We were there early evening on a Friday, so it was quiet. The waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious. Gnocchi was light flavorful. We especially enjoyed the option of large and small servings for most of the entrees. Already planning to go there again soon.

Food was great as always. However, we ordered dinner and as soon as wine was brought to the table, the dinner order was brought to table. It was New Years Eve, and obvious they were trying to turn table. Not a relaxing end of year experience.

First time trying this restaurant. Crab cakes were the size of tater tots, but very tasty. We would try a different appetizer next time. My husband and I both had the scallop risotto and it was delicious with perfectly cooked scallops that melted in your mouth. Tiramisu and gelato were also perfect to end the night with. Service was very friendly and attentive. It’s a bit pricy, but definitely will be back!
