   They have the best eggplant parmigiana that my wife and I have ever had - including in Italy! We had it there 15 years ago, and it is just as good now.

   Wine tasted watery, the octopus texture was like rubber, the bread was served with cold butter instead of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and the main dishes were pretty much tasteless.

   Highlights of Artu include a cozy atmosphere at the bar, friendly staff, a standout appetizer - bruschetta topped with broccoli rabe and white beans, and the fresh pasta.

   The host was excellent. We got there an hour before our 9pm reservation… he took are name and personally made note where we were sitting at the bar…and personally came over to let us know our table was ready 15 minutes earlier than reserved. Very impressed with his professionalism. He had to been exhausted as it was later in the evening on the very busy Valentine’s Day evening. The food was served quickly and the waiter was also just the right amount of attentiveness.

   Unfortunately, our dining experience was much lower than our expectations. I brought my wife here for dinner and I ordered the braised beef ravioli which was 3 raviolis and about 2 entire cups of mushrooms. My wife had lobster ravioli and lobster and shrimp sautéed on the side which was so salty she could not even eat it. Very disappointing experience. I suppose this is what we get for the only restaraunt in the north end with availability for a reservation. The music was also pretty awful and the atmosphere was loud, crowded and very unaesthetic.

    Not impressed. No olive oil mix for bread, pasta cooked horrible. Not authentic Italian food. Caprese salad tomatoes yellow, olive oil used not Italian, no salt or cracked pepper on table. Where do I stop.
