Antico Posto, “The Old Spot”, is an intimate Italian Cafe and Wine Bar carefully hidden in Oakbrook Center Mall. The neighborhood restaurant boasts a warm, and inviting atmosphere combined with simple Italian comfort food. Make yourself comfortable in one of the many booths, or enjoy the private dining space for celebrations and special occasions. House specialties include fresh mozzarella, hand-crafted pasta, brick-oven pizza and house-made gelato. The wine list features more than 30 Italian and domestic selections available by the glass, 1/2 bottle and bottle. Antico Posto never disappoints. The fresh crusty bread and olive and cheese dip are reliably good as a starter. The entrees are beautifully prepared. We love the pistachio crusted whitefish and the traditionally prepared eggplant Parmesan. Looking around the other tables many diners were enjoying the pasta dishes as well as the individual pizzas. The tiramisu is a great dessert to share. We love the warm clubby feel.

Went for dinner on Thursday night. Love the heavenly warm bread with oil they serve. So good. Ordered truffle pizza and angel hair pomodoro with a bottle of red wine. Excellent. Service was fantastic. Very busy with holiday season. Highly recommended.

We were a high maintenance table that included a crying baby. Johanna was our server and she was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to try to help us make the baby happy and was nothing short of excellent. She made the night great even though we threw her some curveballs. Food was great, we will be back.

The food was amazing. The restaurant is cozy, but nice. Our waiter’s service and attention to detail could have been a lot better however.

I dined here for a friends holiday lunch. The hostess was helpful and our server was great! We had the delicious bread, shrimp scampi, pasta with Bolognese sauce, the chopped salad and the Cesar salad with salmon. Each dish was very good! This is a great restaurant!
