Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar opened in 2009, reviving the former Amen name of Cumberland Street and restoring this historic corner. The new renovation stays true to the beauty of the original 1800's architecture while creating a comfortable atmosphere for contemporary life.

Located at 205 East Bay Street in the heart of the historic district this Charleston seafood restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining all within walking distance of the local Market and the Charleston Harbor.

The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as oysters, clams and shrimp in addition to an ever growing raw bar menu. Amen Street supports Charleston's local fishing industry with market fresh fish.

We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.

We loved our dinner at Amen! We arrived early for our reservation and had oysters, clams, and drinks at the bar before our dinner. So good! We had the surf and turf special and Lowcountry Bouillabaisse - both were delicious.

The shrimp and grits were outstanding. Husband said the fried oysters were amazing. He had the swordfish fish special (which was a too spicy for him) but, the fish itself was good. Large portions

She crab soup was great. We had the calamari and date salad with a crab cake and they were also great. The only average thing we had was the fish of the day sandwich (swordfish). Plain bun and lacked overall flavor. Otherwise everything was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

We had a great experience at Amen Street. Francis was our waitress- attentive, helpful and personable! Seafood gumbo was a special that two of the three had- both raved about it. I had classic shrimp and grits that was cooked to perfection with roasted red peppers and enough cheesy goodness on top. We also had cocktails, the smoked maple old fashioned and a sugar cookie martini. All were excellent, the only thing missing was an Italian Luxardo cherry but no worries. Classy interior, great bar and great location, will definitely go back!

So good! Everything was really great. We had a wonderful, knowledgeable server. Loved the she crab soup and the calamari. My shrimp roll was so delicious. 10/10 would recommend!
