   Great service, nice staff as always. Food though not so good. Beef was 50% gristle, Pannacotta well below what it should be.

   Sunday lunch was lovely. Place was busy but was still able to chat with friend. Will definitely return

   Service was not great, asked for meat to be cooked well done and it came pink, we had to send it back, and then it still came back pink. Once we received our food we were left for ages without anybody coming to the table, dirty plates left on the table for at least 20 minutes and nobody asked us if we wanted a desert menu / more drinks etc. Ended up just asking for the bill and leaving because of wait time with service. Really loud live music in the bar which seemed unnecessary. Most staff stood around chatting.

   Lovely late breakfast with friends. Great quality food and the environment was warm and welcoming. The only thing I'd say is that we would have liked a coffee after our food but no one came to ask us and it wasn't possible to get anyone's attention for approximately 30 minutes and by that point we didn't have enough time which was a shame. It didn't ruin the experience though and we will return.

   I had the three course meal. Starter and main were a decent size.Starter of soup was lovely, Steak was a bit chewy but mainly fine, disappointed with size of dessert, one profiterole with a blob of ice cream, they used to be a lot bigger.

   Eight of us went for the three course fixed price menu, all very well cooked and presented. The streaks had a choice of pink or well done and the pink really was pink - excellent. The fish and chips were light, not too much batter but the ramen was a bit too much, rather a lot of noodles. We had a lovely waiter, friendly but not overpowering. We had added a tip to the bill but he kindly explained that service had already been added. Going at lunchtime on a Saturday was not too busy so there wasn't too much noise.

   Wonderful evening with friends for dinner. Staff were great food was delicious. Could have had a few more options on the menu though.

    Great place for lunch. Staff helpful and unobtrusive. Food well presented, very nice and for me personally just enough and good value
