   I was disappointed that three of the main entrees on the menu were unavailable. We had a five o’clock reservation so I was surprised that the kitchen was already out of those entrees.

   Nice ambiance but the food was overrated. The sauce for the mussels did not compliment the seafood, the foccacia was greasy, and while the short rib was good, accompaniments were not. Good dressing and crisp lettuce for the Caesar but not even a hint of the anchovy and no croutons or black pepper visible. Service felt perfunctory.

   Beautiful place, great service and very good food. Had Romaine salad, followed by Mussels, with Sundae for dessert. The Mussels were cooked in a San Marzano tomato and wine broth. Delicious. I like salty foods. but both the mussels and the focaccia served with it were just far too salty. Next time I'll specifically ask for less salt. Romaine salad was perfect, as was dessert!

   Our over all experience was excellent. My only complaint was the food was slow to come out of the kitchen. This was our first time going and will totally go back. The dinner rolls are a must. Ask for a side Caesar salad before the main meal excellent salad. We ordered the short rib and miso black cod both very delicious. Sorry to say we didn’t have room for dessert. We had an excellent waiter and hostess.

   Promptly greeted and seated w a comment on our special occasion. All servers helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Good energy to the room while still being able to converse comfortably.

   The food was well prepared, and the presentation was amazing. It tasted good and the server was very attentive without being constantly there. Very well decorated. Nice patio seating as well that is also dog friendly. The only knock was that it was a bit louder inside than expected, they were out of 2 choices for beer, and the portion size seemed small for the price. Overall, a great place for a date or a business dinner.

   The bartender seemed a little overwhelmed with the outdoor service window, a full bar of diners and the orders from the floor. He was very nice and dutiful, but maybe a second bar steward would help. He made a fantastic cosmo! My short ribs were fabulous and very creative! I loved the creamed corn and grilled pineapple!

    Lovely meal with two other couples and we all enjoyed the nice tight menu with an ample range of selections at decent price points. Sampled several entrees and all were well-prepared and ample. Also liked the craft cocktails and the compact wine list that provided nice variety at a range of prices. We could’ve taken the experience more upscale here but instead constructed a totally satisfying meal without walking away feeling we didn’t receive fair value; which seems to be typical when eating out these days. Looking forward to our return here…
