Pluses and minuses. The roll appetizers is amazing. The spare rib good - mussels definitely a miss. Jalapeños extremely hot (and I grew up in az). Not the normal item in mussels, but probably should have tasted the jalapeño before using. The bread served with the mussels was burnt (after forgotten with the order). The server was obviously not happy being there. I had arranged a desert for my husband’s birthday and it was totally forgotten. We went here because they had duck confit. But they had changed menus and not updated the website.

We have eaten here many times before but tonight we were disappointed. They were out of so many dishes and our reservation was at the beginning of dinner service. They didn’t have bread, they replaced the chicken with duck, but ran out of duck. My son ordered pasta and marinara from the kids meal and they were out of marinara. They were out of muscles. They have a smaller menu to begin with which we are fine with but when they’re out of several items it makes the menu minuscule. Service was sub par. Several dishes were incorrect. We had to ask for refills of drinks multiple times.

Went to Augustin Kitchen with two friends from out of town . Their first time there. Both were very impressed. Food was excellent. Service was friendly but efficient. One of my favorite restaurants in Tucson.

Oysters were great. Calamari was over cooked. Lack of gluten free substitute

Amazing food! I wish the menu would have been a bit more transparent (simplified wording) over all top notch experience from service to food! The food was well thought out and the flavors well balanced. The prices were more than fair for the quality and presentation. Will be returning soon.

I usually love this place. Tonight, the ambiance was the same, lovely. The food was delicious, I loved my fish. The service was so bad, it was like we weren't even there. We were there on business. We sat there for almost ten minutes before anyone came over, drinks? Took at least 15 minutes for said drinks to be delivered. One guest asked what is your soup this evening. Tomato basil tonight. Dinner order placed, five minutes later, manager arrived to tell us, we are no longer making or serving soup, no soup for you. Dinner arrived, delish. Server came about ten minutes later, guest ordered a beer as she basically ran off. I wasn't able to request a glass of chardonnay, oh well, at this point, I didn't care anymore. Beer never arrived. About 20 minutes after we finished eating the bill arrived. Guess what was on the bill? That's right, the two cups of soup that they no longer make or serve!!! Not good. You know how bad service just ruins the evening? We were ready to escape and we did, without after dinner drinks, dessert, or coffee.

We were very disappointed in dinner on Saturday evening. We had 5 in our group and 3 with Celiac (GF). I called the restaurant in advance to check on GF options and was assured it would not be a problem. With a limited menu, there were few options for our group, which was a birthday celebration for our son. Service was incredibly slow. We had a 6:30 reservation and entrees were served after 8PM., following one shared appetizer. LOTS of waiting time. I spoke with the hostess (very receptive) as we left and she called the General Manager over. He was a bit defensive - they were "busy, understaffed given the number of reservations and claimed that our waiter paced our food'" Given the cost of dinner and the overall experience, I would recommend other Tucson venues. This had been recommended to us over the years, but did not deliver against expectations.

This was our first time coming here and it happened to be for Thanksgiving. All of the food was absolutely amazing and the service impeccable. We will definitely be going back to try their regular menu.
