Food was terrific! Great setting, right in the heart of Ocean Drive. Wait staff was amazing and live music was terrific! Halibut and red snapper were not to be missed, with Key lime pie to finish!

Our waiter, Richard, was wonderful. The ribeye and Caesar salad were fabulous. Richard recommended the apple tart dessert and it was the perfect finish for a great dinner.

Not worth the hype. Dismissive and slow service. Food is “fine”, Mezza platter not good

Of four nights in Miami Beach, we spent two at A Fish Called Avalon because the food was so good and the service was excellent. We had Michael as a waiter both nights and he was great and insightful on the food and our needs.
A Fish Called AvalonResponded on March 24, 2025
Dear Eric & Artemis, Thank you so much for spending not just one, but two evenings with us during your Miami Beach stay—and especially for choosing A Fish Called Avalon to celebrate your 33rd wedding anniversary. We're truly honored to have been a part of such a meaningful occasion. We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the food and ambiance, and we’re incredibly proud of Michael for making both evenings so memorable. Your kind words about his service and attentiveness mean the world, and we’ll be sure to share your heartfelt compliments with him. Wishing you both many more years of love, joy, and beautiful celebrations. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Best regards from us at A Fish Called Avalon.

Everything was enjoyable. My only complaint is that their menu boasted happy jour priced from 5-7…we were there at 6;00 and should have received a $10 discount on our bill but did not.
