15 Point Road, A special treat in Portsmouth Rhode Island along the Sakonnet River. Busy, but not crowded, 15 Point offers casual upscale dining with an enchanting moonlit river view. A traditional menu, strongly influenced by the local bounty (especially from the sea), pleases most everyone and house specialties are an ever-changing eclectic delight of innovative and contemporary dishes. Once inside you will be entranced by the view of the Sakonnet River which leads out to the ocean beyond through the panorama of windows. While enjoying Al Fresco dining on our deck, across the river you will occasionally notice the local fishing boats as they make their way to the Tiverton fish market. If you're lucky enough, you might even catch one of the local lobstermen heading out to tend his lobster traps in Mount Hope Bay!

We had a delightful evening! Our server, Eden, was simply lovely and made us feel welcome. Our meal was delectable. I had the duck and my husband had the steak Diane, which are our favorite items on the menu. We are never disappointed! We look forward to returning soon. It’s a popular place, for good reason, so I need to book a reservation in advance. See you soon!

I love everything about 15 Point Road... the food, the service, the setting. The one thing I find difficult is the noise level. It is very difficult to have a conversation. I wish they would consider putting in some sort of noise reducing elements to reduce the noise level.

The staff went out of their way waitress was wonderful. Overheard me speaking with my friend about her birthday brought our dessert with a candle in it without being asked was perfect. I would definitely go again.

This is a top quality restaurant that never disappoints. Service is always solid and the menu is extensive and changes seasonally. I was there during restaurant week but did not take advantage of a truly extensive amount of offerings. Tried the prime rib on this trip something I don’t normally try. Outstanding portion and quality. Drinks are well done and moderately priced. This is a hidden gem on the water in Portsmouth RI

Have had takeout from 15 Point on many occasions but this is the first time dining on-site. Seated by the window on a cold night, it's easy to see how dining on the deck below in warm weather would be lovely. As it was Newport Restaurant Week, we went with the prix-fixe 3-course dinner. Better half had baked brie for appetizer, stuffed shrimp for entree and key lime pie for dessert, while I had the house salad, beef tenderloin tips and key lime pie. All items were quite good. Of note, the (endorsed by the server) cheesy cauliflower was excellent, and I say that as a non-fan of cauliflower, and the beef tips were exactly medium rare as ordered, and beautifully tender. Our only complaint was our server was quite slow in delivering the check. We'll be back, and we'll want to try the outdoor dining when conditions are right.
